Efficiency:

Our unique, patented triaxial design is a highly efficient probe designed for maximum power deposition into tissue.  Several design features minimize power loss between the generator and probe tips, thus maximizing power delivery and reducing cable heating.

Flexibility:

Capability to use up to three probes allows physicians to ablate virtually any size and shape of soft tissue.  Small targets can be ablated very quickly with a single probe, or multiple probes can be used to create large ablation zones and custom shapes.  Our array of probe types give physicians flexibility to choose the best option for a particular target tissue type, size, shape or location.

As a result, the Certus 140 2.45GHz Ablation System is designed to create predictable and reproducible ablation zones by achieving high temperatures with limited heat-sink effect and readily penetrating through charred or desiccated tissues.*
